Privacy Policy

Effective: July 1, 2026 · Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how InstantMD collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, our eligibility check, and our telehealth platform. We wrote it to be read — plain language first, legal precision where it’s required.

The short version

We collect what we need to deliver your care, we protect your health information under HIPAA where it applies, and we never sell your personal information. The sections below spell out the details.

Section 1

Who we are

InstantMD operates a telehealth platform that helps Medicare-enrolled patients check their coverage, meet with licensed clinicians by video, and receive ongoing care. Medical services available through the platform are provided by licensed clinicians through Metabolic Health Group of Florida, P.A., an independent medical practice. When this policy says “InstantMD,” “we,” or “us,” it means Instant Health Services LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and, where the context requires, Metabolic Health Group of Florida, P.A.

Section 2

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you provide — your name, date of birth, contact details, and Medicare coverage information when you use our eligibility check, create an account, or communicate with us.
Health information — information you share with your clinician and care team during visits, messaging, and follow-up care; this is protected health information (“PHI”) under HIPAA and is also governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Automatic information — device, browser, and usage information collected when you visit our website, described in Section 6.
Section 3

How we use your information

We use your information to: verify your Medicare coverage and program eligibility in real time; deliver, coordinate, and document your care; schedule visits and send appointment communications; process claims and billing; operate, secure, and improve the platform; respond to your questions; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.

Section 4

How we share information

We share information only as needed to deliver your care and run the platform:

Your care team — the licensed clinicians and support staff involved in your care.
Pharmacies — to fill prescriptions your clinician issues, at the pharmacy you choose.
Medicare and payers — as required to verify eligibility, obtain authorizations, and process claims.
Service providers — vendors that help us operate the platform (hosting, communications, analytics), bound by contracts — including business associate agreements where PHI is involved — that limit how they may use information.
Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect safety.
Section 5

Health information & HIPAA

Health information we hold as part of your care is protected health information under HIPAA. Our Notice of Privacy Practices — available here — describes your HIPAA rights and how PHI may be used and disclosed. If anything in this policy conflicts with the Notice of Privacy Practices as to PHI, the Notice controls.

Section 6

Cookies & advertising

Our public website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, analytics, and measuring our advertising. We may use advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) to reach people who may benefit from our services and to measure ad performance. We do not share your health information, eligibility answers, or account activity with advertising platforms, and we do not use advertising technologies on the authenticated patient portions of the platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie preferences tool.

Section 7

Your rights & choices

Access and correction — you may request a copy of the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
Deletion — you may request deletion of personal information, subject to records we are legally required to keep (including medical records retained per state law).
Marketing opt-out — you can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link and of text messages by replying STOP.
State privacy rights — depending on your state, you may have additional rights.

To exercise any right, message us through the site or write to us at the address in Section 10. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Section 8

Security & retention

We protect your information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we design ours so that the sensitive path — your health information — has the strongest protections we can give it. We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above. Medical records are retained as required by state law.

Section 9

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Section 10

Changes & contact

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and post the revised version here; where required, we will notify you directly. Questions or requests: message us through the site anytime, or write to Instant Health Services LLC, 1309 Coffeen Ave, Suite 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801.
